Rangers recover two kidnapped youth

Rangers conducted a raid in Lyari area of the Karachi and recovered two abducted youth in the wee hours of Sunday.

According to the Rangers spokesman, the raid was conducted after receiving secret information. He said the released youth were identified as Muhammad Aslam, 25 and Akbar, 14.

Both the youth were kidnapped by the accused affiliated with Lyari gang war, the spokesman added. Meanwhile, in a targeted operation in Qasba Colony locality of Karachi, Rangers arrested an alleged target killer on late Saturday night. The Rangers personnel raided the areas near furniture market and Bangla Bazar in Qasba Colony.

Giving details about the accused, the spokesman said he was involved in various incidents of target killings and he had affiliation with a political party.

A huge cache of arms including LMG and an anti-aircraft gun was also recovered from the accused, the spokesman added.

Meanwhile, Rangers conducted targeted raids in different areas of the city and arrested 15 alleged criminals including a target killer.

According to a press release issued on Sunday, illegal weapons were also seized during the raids which were conducted in Natha Khan Goth, Landhi, Gulshan-e- Maymar, Saudabad, Saeedabad, Kabbari Market and Bangala Bazar areas.

Meanwhile, the Rangers also launched a search operation in Kashmore area against elements after in attempt to blow up a gas pipeline.
