Majority of Taliban favor peace, claims Imran

While hoping the dialogue process to succeed, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan said majority of the Taliban want peace, a private news channel reported on Sunday.

Talking to media in Karachi, Khan said the talks with the Taliban were gradually proceeding, claiming a sizeable strength of Taliban group was in favour of peace.

He said peace could not be restored in Karachi until non-political appointments were made in the city police department.

To a question regarding Musharraf case, PTI chief said constitutional supremacy and justice must prevail in the case of ex-president.
