PHC CJ to retire Monday

Peshawar High Court (PHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Mian Fasihul Mulk will stand retired on Monday with Justice Mazhar Alam Mian Khel will be the new chief justice in his place.

Notification in this regard has been issued. As per media reports, Justice Fasihul Mulk was appointed as the PHC chief justice on January 31, 2014 and his service tenure will expire on Monday.

The PHC Chief Justice designate Mazhar Alam Mian Khel will take the oath of his office on Tuesday. The new CJ hails from Dera Ismail Khan, and was appointed as additional judge in the PHC in 2009 and judge in 2011.
