Hockey legend Islahuddin mugged in Karachi

Pakistan’s former hockey team captain and Olympian, Islahuddin Siddique was mugged in the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) area of the city on Saturday.

The muggers made away with the hockey legends car, mobile, and cash, police said.

Islahuddin played between 1367 and 1978 leading Pakistan to glory at the World Cup, Champions Trophy and Asian games. He also won a silver medal at the Munich Olympics (1972) and bronze in Montreal (1976).
