Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) will hold free puppet show for children on Friday to entertain and educate them on health, education and environmental issues.
The show would be held at National Puppet Theater Hall (Liaquat Hall) Rawalpindi by Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage at 4pm.
The show is aimed at creating awareness among children through the colourful performance of national puppet theatre which will present folk tales, skits to provide entertainment and education about social problems like health, education and environment etc.
According to an official of PNCA, the puppet show is a regular feature of the council presented by National Puppet Theatre (NPT) on every first Friday of the month. The show focuses on educating children through moral and historical stories enacted out by puppets.
The show portrays many social problems to create awareness, better sense of civic responsibility and patriotism among the audience, he said. Children along with their parents are invited to attend the show.
