Nine-month-old booked for murder, appears in court

LAHORE-

Police officials on Wednesday suspended an officer for registering a murder case against a nine-month-old.

The infant Moosa was brought to a local court by his father where his interim bail was approved by Judge Rafaqat Ali.

The Muslim Town police had filed a murder case against the baby for attacking police personnel by pelting stones at them.

DG operations, taking notice of media reports, ordered an inquiry and suspended the ASI for registering the case.

The police claim they didn’t know the accused was an infant.

Minister for Human Rights and Minorities Affairs Khalil Tahir Sindhu has also taken notice of the human right violation by the police.
