HBL, Pakistan’s largest bank, through the initiative of Learning & Development department recently held Women’s Week to celebrate International Women’s Day. As a part of HBL’s core values, it recognises gender equality as the key to a country’s economic, social and democratic development as it generates higher growth outcome.
This week, dedicated to the women of HBL, was aimed at building an environment conducive to career growth and enrichment at their work place. The week was kicked off with “Bol”, a series of inspirational talks by female leaders from the corporate sector. This was followed by other activities including a play by Sheema Kermani and a fun filled bring-your-child-to-work day for the female employees.
