CDA to install 150 surveillance cameras to control street crime

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) in collaboration with the Islamabad Police would install 150 surveillance cameras at different locations of the Federal Capital to overcome the street crimes and traffic problems.

According to CDA official, the PC-I for installation of 150 surveillance cameras at various locations in the city would be prepared very soon.

These surveillance cameras could be connected / linked with the security system to be established in Islamabad on large scale for effective monitoring.

These surveillance cameras would not only help control street crimes rate and traffic issues but also help to control the encroachments in the city.

Work on project would be initiated soon after the preparation and approval of PC-1.
