Police gun down robber in encounter
A suspected robber was killed in a police encounter, while his cohort managed to flee in Kahna on Wednesday.
According to police sources, cops signalled two suspicious motorcycle riders to stop in Haloki but the bike-riders fired shots at the police. In retaliatory firing, one rider was killed while the other managed to run away, they said.
The police took the body of killed robber in its custody and started search for the fleeing one.
