Superintendent, 2 invigilators sacked for allowing cheating

One superintendent of examination centre and two invigilators have been sacked while three annual increments of one deputy superintendent have been withheld for allowing students cheating in papers.

This step has been taken by Rawalpindi Executive District Officer Qazi Zahoorul Haq in the light of enquiry committee report.

Sources said that DaniesHigh School was accorded status of examination centre during Allama Iqbal Open University examination. Controller examination during his surprise visit to the centre had caught Superintendent Anis and two invigilators for allowing the students to solve the papers through cheating after grabbing money from them. The deputy superintendent was found absent from the centre during the raid.

An enquiry committee comprising deputy male officer Kallar Syedan and deputy male officer Gujar Khan was constituted to probe into the matter. The enquiry committee held the superintendent and two invigilators responsible for allowing cheating to the students during the examination while deputy superintendent was found guilty of showing negligence in duty.
