KARACHI
Tortured bodies of two unidentified men have been found in Manghopir area of the city while a key member of the banned TTP has been killed in a police encounter.
According to police, the bodies were stuffed in gunny bags. The men were shot in the head. Rescue sources said that the bodies have been shifted to a hospital for medico-legal formalities and identification.
On the other hand an important member of banned TTP Swati Group Ameen Mateen has been killed in a police encounter in Sohrab Goth. Ameen Mateen was wanted by the police for several crimes.
Ameen had shifted to Karachi after an army operation in Swat and had made Sohrab Goth his hideout from where he use to carry out his nefarious acts.
