Six persons including two women were killed while 20 others were seriously injured in a road accident at Bypass Road in Hafizabad on Tuesday.
According to police, the accident took place near Ghora Chowk Qila Sahib Singh where a rashly-driven van (LWC-2281) collided with a trailer.
Resultantly, Awais, Ashraf, Abdul Majeed, Sabir and two unidentified women died on the spot while 20 others including ten women suffered serious injuries.
Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured and dead to the DHQ Hospital where the condition of Naseem, Muhammad Yousaf, Ibrar Ahmad and three unidentified women was stated to be critical.
