Fake appointments scandal has been unearthed in Capital Development Authority (CDA).
A group of fraudsters among CDA employees is said to have extorted million of rupees from the people in return for fake offer for appointment while CDA chairman has ordered enquiry into the scam.
CDA Naib Qasid Kasahghar Riaz is stated to be behind the whole scandal who poses himself to be a senior officer in the authority. Through one fake offer for appointment, he recruited 10 persons. Ubaidur Rehman, Shaukat Hussain and Muhammad Rizwan have been recruited Baildar, Tauqir Abbasi pump operator, Zahirul Hassan sub assistant, Zulqarnai sub engineer Hamid Hassan Naib Qasid, Zeeshan Haider and Wasif Ali valve man and Muhammad Sarwar as Naib Qasid.
This appointment letter was issued on October, 12, 2013 under the signatures of HRO, Fida Muhammad Aftab.
Sources said that the accused stole away cheque book from CDA treasury and he has also prepared fake service books and issued to the employees enrolled by him under fake appointment letter.
