Former President Pervez Musharraf reached the Special court with all the security and special protocol without any untoward incident despite all the threats to his life.
According to details, extra ordinary security arrangements were made all along the route from AFIC Rawalpindi to the Special Court in Islamabad.
Entry in Red Zone of the Federal capital was closed from all directions.
However, reports said that the Judges who were coming to the venue of the special court reached the court by ten to fifteen minutes late due to restrictions in the Red Zone. On receipt of information, senior officials of Islamabad Police got the hurdles removed from their route.
Meanwhile about a dozen supporters of the former president who managed to reach near the venue of the hearing raised slogans in support of their leader and against the government. Police and rangers however persuaded them to leave the area.
