The LPG marketing companies reduced the LPG price by Rs 10 per kilogram, Rs 120 in a domestic cylinder and Rs 480 for commercial cylinder. The new prices would be effective from Monday.
The chairman of LPG distribution association, Irfan Khokhar said in statement that LPG prices were being reduced as result of LPG policy 2014. He predicted that price would be further lowered.
The new prices are Rs 115 per kg in all major cities and Rs 125 in Murree, Gilgit- Baltistan, FATA, Azad Kashmir and other hilly areas of the country. Irfan Kohtar said that now LPG was available at affordable rate to poor people during spring season.
