LAHORE-

The Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Friday sacked the Punjab Assembly secretary for the trashing of a traffic warden at the hands of his sons, a private news channel reported.

On Thursday, traffic warden Waqas intercepted a car carrying Raj Mumtaz and Raj Najam, sons of PA secretary Raj Mumtaz, near Qurtaba Chowk.

The warden issued them a ticket for violating the one-way rule.

Upon this, the two brothers trashed the warden.

They were then taken in to custody by the police and a case was registered against them.

CM Sharif, taking notice of the incident, ordered an impartial inquiry in to the incident.
