NA speaker urges youth to go high tech

National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has said that future of the country rests in hands of the youth and our young people has all the capabilities and potential to steer the country out of present challenges.

He expressed these views while meeting with a group of students of Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in Parliament House on Friday.

Talking to the group, the speaker said that education is essential for the growth and development of any country and only those nations have made progress who accorded top priority to their education sector. He said that nation has lot of expectations from its youth and they should equip themselves of modern time technology and work hard to coup with challenges confronted to the country and to come up the expectations of the nation.

The speaker said that Pakistan is facing menace of terrorism and extremism which has disrupted civic life of citizens and economic activity in the country. “We are committed to peace and stability and elimination of extremism and terrorism in the country as well as in the region” he added. He called upon the youth of the country to come forward and join hand for the prosperity and development of the country.
