Islamabad Police have arrested 14 outlaws including eight proclaimed offenders from various areas and recovered weapons and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Friday.
In special crackdown against the absconders, various police stations of Islamabad nabbed eight proclaimed offenders wanted to police in crime cases of heinous nature.
Meanwhile, Secretariat Police arrested an accused Fiaz for having 30-bore pistol while Margallah police nabbed an accused thief Qamar Ali. CIA police arrested accused Waris for possessing 30-bore pistol while accused Zafar Iqbal was arrested by Tarnol Police for selling petroleum products illegally.
Shehzad Town Police arrested two accused Qaisar Masoh and Babar Masih. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. During general hold up, Islamabad police impounded 77 bikes and three vehicles for being driven without authentic documents while black papers were removed from 14 tinted glass vehicles.
