Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday claimed that he had received a “threat letter” from banned terrorist outfit, the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ), adding that if anything were to happen to him, the government of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif should be held responsible for it.
In a message on the microblogging site Twitter, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said: “Received threat letter frm LEJ. Will hold Punjab govt responsible 4 LEJ attacks if Sharif cont 2 give them protection & refuse2 take action.”
In another tweet he said: “Jo Taliban Ka yaar hai woh mulk ka gadaar hai!!” (anyone who is friends with the Taliban is a traitor).
Taking notice of Bilawal’s tweet, Shahbaz Sharif ordered the Pinjab Police IG to contact the PPP leader and get the details of the letter.
