Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Commerce and Textile Khurram Dastagir announced Tuesday that an agreement had been reached with India to purchase electricity.
Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Dastagir said trade talks with India had been put on hold and would resume following elections in India. According to Dastagir, several issues with India could be resolved by opening trade between the two countries. He added that trade routes would not be closed even if there was an altercation at the border.

this seems an unwise decision to go for such type of purchase agreement with a country like india, never trustworthy.Such purchase agreements like electricity , gas should last for fifty years or more but with India, God knows what will happen tomorrow.
