ISLAMABAD
Opposition leader in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah on Sunday said the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) would not include the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in the Sindh government.
He said the PPP was a democratic party and it would be a difficult decision for its leadership to include the MQM in the government until Altaf Hussain, MQM chief, takes his words back about the army’s interference in politics, said a press release.
Shah said that Altaf’s statement was unconstitutional and if the MQM wanted to join the Sindh government, he had to take his statement back but it seemed impossible.
To a query regarding Hazara province, he said that it would be decided at the time of presenting of resolution in the National Assembly.
