Rawalpindi Arts Council arranged a drama with title of “Hum Aik Hain” and a musical concert “Watan k Geet” in connection with Pakistan Day celebrations here on Sunday. The drama was written by Iqbal Tabassum and director by senior artist Ejaz Baig. The main theme of the drama was that all are Pakistani and must be careful from external forces who wanted to sabotage the peace of Pakistan. The main caste of the drama was Amin Shahzada, Imran Rushdi, Rana Kashif, Reha Yosaf, Salman Sunny, Mehwish Khan and Pervaiz Malik. Besides drama a musical concert “Watan k Geet” was also held to celebrate Pakistan’s Day enthusiastically. Singers from Rawalpindi Islamabad Master Majeed, Umair, Hina, Hassan, Shahab, Anam, Sami and group performed wonderfully. Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed and President Sukhanwar Aftab Zia participated in Pakistan Day celebrations. Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed congratulated the nation on sacred day and said that this is the day for promise to work for the country sincerely. Aftab Zia said that philosophy of Quaid-e-Azam and Dr Allama Iqbal is only sources to overcome all problems.
