This he said while inaugurating the AIOU’s campus in Bahawalpur on Thursday.

The institute, to be set up in Bahawalpur district would serve as a model for imparting skill-based education to the people at their nearest place, through distance learning system.

The university would also establish a renewable energy institute in southern Punjab to support the government in its efforts to overcome the energy crisis.
