Pakistan Navy relief efforts continue for drought-affected people of Thar wherein more than 7,000 patients have been treated in the medical camp and mobile medical teams.
The PN mobile medical teams are operating in Deh Sajai, Deh Sadhoi, UC Boolhari and UC Rajjar, said a statement issued by ISPR on Thursday. Minor surgeries have also been conducted in PN medical camp at Diplo. PN jeeps are deployed on regular patrolling to help the distressed.
Medical teams comprising of specialists and paramedical staff are being regularly deputed to Thar.
Another medical team comprising of more than 70 personnel including PN doctors, paramedics and officers have been deputed for relief operations. More than 15 ton ration and drinking water has been dispatched for the locals of Thar on Thursday. Pakistan Navy is committed to serve its countrymen in times of distress and will continue to support till normalisation of crisis.
