1,100 graduates to receive degrees at SSUET’s convocation

Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) will hold its 17th convocation on April 10 with 1,100 graduates to be awarded their degrees on the occasion.

The degree recipients pertain to the departments of computer, civil, electronics, bio-medical, telecommunication engineering and computer science respectively. More than 100 of them have also successfully completed their Masters programme from the university.

The results of final year students have already been announced and displayed at the SSUET’s website. The university has also announced the names of Gold, Silver and Bronze medal winners and those securing first three top positions in their respective departments.

Meanwhile, the university has asked all the graduating students to ensure attending the convocation rehearsal scheduled to be held on April 9, at Expo Centre. SSUET Chancellor, Engr Muhammad Adil Usman on Thursday chaired a meeting, also attended by Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Jawaid II. Rizvi, Registrar Syed Abrar Ali and all other concerned to review arrangements being made for the annual event.

It was decided on the occasion that the Board of Governors of the University will also meet on April 9 prior to the holding of Convocation.
