PESHAWAR-
Jamaat-e-Islami leader and member of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) negotiating committee, Professor Ibrahim on Wednesday expressed the desire of the committee to meet with the army leadership to discuss the dialogue process.
In an interview with a private news channel, Ibrahim said that the TTP is not willing to hold talks with the government committee in North Waziristan.
He said that the TTP wants to hold talks outside of North Waziristan, demanding that the government committee should decide on a location soon.
He further said that the dialogue process would go on even if the TTP’s demands to withdraw army troops from the two districts of South Waziristan and release the 300 non-combatant prisoners is not met.
