The federal government has given the portfolio of minister for textile industry to Senator Abbas Afridi of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F).
According to a notification issued on Wednesday, JUI-F Senator Abbas Afridi, who belong to the FATA, was given the textile portfolio.
Besides Afridi, JUI-F’s Akram Durrani and Senator Ghafoor Haidri also took oath as federal minister and minister of state respectively, but the decision regarding their portfolios was not yet taken.
