Announce to observe one-month strike against online system
Patwaris from Rawalpindi have announced to observe strike for one month against the launching of computerised system in Rawalpindi.
The decision for observing strike was taken in a meeting of Rawalpindi Anjuman-e- Patwarian held under its president Qazi Muhammad Hussain.
Rawalpindi Anjuman-e-Patwarian strongly opposed installation of system for computerisation of record in their department by Punjab government.
They said that land work has yet to be completed in several villages and muazas and it will take at least one year more to finalize this job. Computerisation system is unjust step taken by the Punjab government and it should be stopped, they demanded.
