At least four killed, seven wounded in accidents

At least four people died and seven others wounded in various traffic accidents Tuesday in Karachi’s Native Jetty Bridge and Baldia town areas.

At least two persons were killed when two speeding motorcycles collided on Karachi’s Native Jetty Bridge. The bodies were shifted to a civil hospital.

In another incident, two cars faced collision killing two persons in Naval Colony of Badia town Area.

Meanwhile, seven persons were injured when a speeding bus overturned near Khadda Market area in Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority Phase V.

The traffic police reported that the accident occurred as a result of the bus driver’s attempt to avoid a motorcyclist. The driver and conductor of the bus managed to escape from scene. Rescue teams rushed to the spot and shifted the victims to Jinnah Hospital.

Moreover, one of the victims was critically injured, according to the sources. The bus was impounded by the police as a search for the bus driver and conductor went underway.
