Sindh Food Minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar on Monday said that the food department was in the process of dispatching another 22,000 bags, each of 100 Kg wheat, to the famine-hit areas.
Dispelling impression created about any shortage of wheat in Tharparkar, he said, the godowns reported to be empty were those from where bags containing wheat had already been distributed among the affectees, particularly those pertaining to affected talukas.
“The government has already distributed 87,500 bags, each containing 100 kg of wheat,” said the minister. Mehtab said wheat was being distributed among the people on most equitable basis and there was absolutely no truth in the reports about any partiality or embezzlement.
I think an unqualified baboo….Mr Qazi Jamal Mustafa…DC South Karachi should be given additional charge of this too since he bought a house in DHA for PKR 60 Million so is in need of more liquidity to finance his lifestyle…..further, he is a blue eyed of Mr Tappi as well…..Lets get a team so that they can atleast have a safe heaven in Dubai too….
