Polling for the local bodies by-elections in five districts of the province continued amid tight security on Sunday.
Balochistan Election Commissioner Syed Bayazid Sultan said the polling began in 39 polling stations for 32 Wards in Pishin, Killa Saifullah, Loralai, Musakheil and Kalat districts commenced on 8am and ended uninterruptedly at 5 pm.
Heavy contingents of law enforcement agencies had been deployed at polling stations in these districts to maintain peace during the polling process.
“No untoward incident has been reported from these districts” he concluded.
