Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Patron-in-chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has strongly condemned the attack on Hindu temple and term it equivalent to an attack on his ancestors’ tomb Garhi Khuda Baksh.
Bilawal tweeted, “I consider attack on temple akin to attack on GKB. Perpetrators will b brought to justice as will people who spread lies and incited violence.”
In his second tweet related to the same incident, he said, “Deliberate attempts to disturb religious harmony will not succeed. Maintaining peace in this volatile situation is the number one priority.”
Here it is important to mention that Garhi Khuda Baksh is notable for containing the graveyard of the Bhutto family and being the burial place of former prime ministers of Pakistan Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto. I
