US Congressman Dana Rohrabacher has called on the US government to stop Pakistan’s aid as “Islamabad is not a US ally” anymore.
In his address at the US House of Representatives, the congressman said that Pakistan’s aid should immediately be stopped as the US funds were being used against Washington or its friends in Afghanistan.
Reacting to Secretary of State John Kerry’s appeal for financial aid for Islamabad, Rohrabacher dubbed Pakistan’s war against militants as bogus and a ploy to receive US dollars.
He was quoted by the US media as saying that “the behaviour of Pakistan’s military establishment was not friendly with regard to the US interests”.
