Commissioner Hyderabad Jamal Mustafa Syed has said that imparting quality education to youth is the need of the hour and in the interest of the country as no country could meet the challenges of the modern world if it has not the qualified and skilled manpower.
The Commissioner expressed these remarks while speaking as chief guest at the annual function of The City School Kohsar Campus here on Saturday.
Lauding the role of private sector in providing quality education to the future generation, the Commissioner said that the government with its limited resources is spending huge amount for development of education.
Besides converting Urdu Medium Schools into English Medium, he said that special attention is being given on training of teachers with grant of scholarships to meritorious students and distribution of syllabus to students so that all could acquire knowledge.
