PM directs authorities to save what is left

 

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said on Saturday the Punjab government and the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) should work together for the development of provincial metropolis.

Presiding over a meeting about restoration of Ravi and heritage sites at his Raiwind residence, he said the government’s land should be utilised to earn revenue.

The prime minister directed the authorities concerned to complete a feasibility of the Ravi Zone Development at the earliest. He said the heritage sites should be restored so that recreational facilities could be provided to the masses.

LDA Chairman Ahad Cheema gave a briefing to the prime minister. Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Secretary Naveed Akram Cheema and other officials were also present.
