Two new polio cases in Karachi, Miranshah

Two new cases of Polio virus were reported in Pakistan on Friday.

According to the National Health Department, a two-year-old child was diagnosed with polio virus in Baldia Town of Karachi while another 10-month-old boy was confirmed to have contracted polio in Miranshah of North Waziristan.

The event has increased the total number of polio to 28 in Pakistan, with 24 in 24 in North Waziristan, three in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and one in Sindh.
