Pakistan Coast Guards have recovered foreign liquor of worth Rs 15 million being smuggled into the country through Badoa area, off Pasni in Balochistan.
Sharing details of the recovery on Friday, the PCG officials said a raid was conducted by their special mobile patrolling team at midnight during which the smugglers also opened fire on the coast guards’ patrolling team.
The smugglers were said to have escaped taking advantage of darkness leaving behind liquor of different specifications. Further investigation is in process by the PCG special investigation team.
