Muzaffar Ali has been trying to keep the lead cast of his film a well-guarded secret. But we have finally learnt that Imran Abbas Naqvi is all set to star in the movie opposite fashion stylist and costume designer Pernia Qureshi in Raqs.
A period drama set in pre-Independence India, which will be shot extensively in Lucknow from March 18 at the Qaiserbagh Baradari. According to sources, while Amitabh Bachchan and Zarina Wahab are likely to play cameos in the film, they will be shooting their bit in Mumbai.
Imran, has featured in a Lollywood film, Anjuman, apart from acting in several TV shows in Pakistan. He is also acting opposite Bipasha Basu in Vikram Bhatt’s Creature 3D.
