Former senator kills 2 brothers in Peshawar

Former senator Abdul Rehman shot dead his two brothers over a property dispute in Peshawar on Thursday, a private TV channel reported.

In initial statement to police, the former senator accused his brothers of opening fire on his residence in Chamkani.

Rehman, a resident of Mohmand Agency, was reportedly at his house when his brothers exchanged harsh words with him.

Sources said that it was actually his guard who allegedly fired at them. The deceased were identified as Abdul Wadood and Ishaq.

Police arrested nine people, including the former senator, his son and two navy officials.
