Two unidentified men opened fire at a school in the city injuring three people. The incident took place outside Jungle School in the Baldia Town area of the city. The injured were taken to the Civil Hospital for medical assistance.
A private school in Orangi Town had come under attack on October 28 last year, allegedly for refusing to pay extortion. Since Al-Mehran School, located in Ghaziabad, was closed due to Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s shrine, no casualties were reported.
On October 22, 2013, unidentified gunmen had opened fire on Prince School in the Orangi Gulshan-e-Bahar area of Karachi. No loss of life was reported.
