The State Bank of Pakistan would unveil its monetary policy decision for the next couple of months on Saturday.
The new discount rate, according to a statement issued by chief spokesman of the State Bank of Pakistan, would be announced through issuing a press release.
The economic observers are foreseeing a status quo outcome of as the central bank is poised to revise the current 10 percent discount rate.
The analysts believe that the regulator was likely to keep the easing inflationary pressures in the country while setting the cost of borrowing for the banks.
The consumer price index inflation clocked in at 7.8 percent in February that was below market expectations.
