Sindh Education Minister Nisar Khuhro has rebuffed media reports regarding emergence of a forward bloc in Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
Talking to media persons on Wednesday, Khuhro termed reports of formation of forward bloc in PPP as baseless. He said that Relief Department’s portfolio has been taken back from Makhdoom Jameel-uz Zaman but he will still keep the Ministry of Revenue.
Commenting on Thar’s famine, he expressed his hope that situation in food starved desert district of Sindh will improve soon.
Responding a question, the provincial education minister said that elements involved in spreading terrorism in Lyari would be brought to book.
Khuhro urged law enforcement agencies (LEAs) to continue their operation without differentiation political affiliation or influence.
