Atif Aslam turns 31-year-old

Atif Aslam, who has recently been blessed with a baby boy, celebrates his 31st birthday today.

Born on March 12, 1983, Atif Aslam entered the Pakistan music industry in 2004 with his debut song ‘Adat’ and was an instant hit.
His first album ‘Jal Pari’ grossed high sales, plunging him to the status of a superstar in a very short time.

In 2005, he made his debut in the Bollywood with a song in movie Zeher, starring Emraan Hashmi.

From there on, he has lend his voice for a many heart touching songs in super hit films like Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani, Race, Race 2 and most recently, Phata Poster Nikhla Hero.

In 2011, Atif starred in the Shoaib Mansoor directed movie ‘Bol’ termed widely as a start of the revival of the Pakistani film industry. His performance and songs were highly acclaimed.

The singer is also a recipient for the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, one of Pakistan’s highest civilian decorations.

He married Sara Bharwana in April 2013 and was blessed with a baby on March 7, 2014.
