Another 30 children were brought to hospital on Wednesday as the food shortage and drought condition continued in Tharparkar district of Sindh.
According to sources, rescue operation have been slowed down due to rough terrains while areas including Kesrad, Kitaar and Jitrad are still waiting for the rescue teams.
More than 300 people are being treated by local hospitals and army medical camps in the district.
According to statistics, around 300 were undergoing treatment in local hospitals of the district.
The Sindh government earlier removed the provincial minister of relief and revenue Makhdoom Jamil-u-Zaman, minister for Livestock & Fisheries Jam Khan Shoro and Relief Commissioner Lala Fazal-ur-Rehman for their posts over negligence over the relief movement in Tharparkar.
