National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has ordered enquiry into the matters related to Pak Enclave Housing Scheme launched by CDA.
NAB through a letter has summoned all the relevant record of this housing scheme from CDA chairman to conduct its scrutiny.
This scheme was inaugurated by the former Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gillani in August. CDA had promised to complete the scheme in a year but only boundary wall has been constructed so far.
CDA then had allotted 631 plots while 20 allottees had got refunded their amount. Later these plots were declared transferable and their sale and purchase process started.
NAB has sought lists of applicants and the allottees who have got their amount refunded and asked CDA to inform it how much land was allocated for this scheme.
The NAB has also directed CDA to provide copy of lay out plan and copy of amended lay out plan if any, copy of brochure besides furnishing information on how many plots were carved, what was schedule of payment, schedule of completion of the scheme, reasons for delay in completion of this project and the method of allotment of plots.
