KP minister’s offer to TTP refuted by state minister

ISLAMABAD-

The Minister of State for Interior Balighur Rehman on Tuesday refuted the offer made by a provincial minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa for Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) to open up offices in Peshawar.

Rehman said that terrorists will not be allowed to set up offices.

Neither any such proposal is under consideration nor a formal request in this regard has been received, had he added.

Later‚ the opposition members staged a walkout from the House over the offer made by the KP minister.

The KP Health Minister Shaukat Yousufzai, belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) on Monday offered office facilities to the banned outfit TTP in Peshawar.

“PTI is not only insisting on dialogues with Taliban but even had offered maximum facilitation to both the sides in this respect. If Taliban have an office in Peshawar then there is no need for the government committee members to travel to North Waziristan.
