A youth belonging to Hindu community committed suicide by shooting himself in the head on Tuesday. Another youngster was hospitalised after he consumed poisonous substance.
Police said 18-year-old, Santosh, hailing from Mir Munawar Colony of Tando Muhammad Khan committed suicide by shooting himself in his head with pistol soon after visiting the temple in Gulshan-e-Faiz. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital and subsequently it was handed over to heirs after post-mortem. Reason behind could not be ascertained yet. Meanwhile, in Kohlioun village of Tando Muhammad Khan, Amarshi, 22, attempted to commit suicide by drinking toxic substance over domestic disputes. He was rushed to a hospital where, according to medics, his condition was critical.
As many as four more dengue viral fever cases were reported in Karachi on Saturday increasing the patients toll to 109 in 2014, said Focal Person for Dengue Surveillance Cell Dr Shakeel Aamir Mullick.
