The 10 member delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) returned from their tour of Iran in Lahore, a private news channel reported on Sunday.
JI Deputy Secretary General Fareed Paracha, while speaking to media at LahoreAirport, said that the tour was held to improve the bilateral relations between the two countries as well as to unite the Muslim nation.
“Conspiracies are being made to make the Muslims fight against each other”, Paracha said. He added that such visits can be helpful in removing the misconceptions about each other.
The JI official further said that the party met with top officials of Iran and has invited them on a tour of Pakistan.
