Funds released for fool proof security arrangements at district courts Rawalpindi

Interior Ministry has released funds amounting to Rs 800,000 on emergency basis for making foolproof security arrangements at district courts Rawalpindi and Judicial Complex.

During a joint meeting of district and sessions judge Rawalpindi, district police officers and district bar association, a new fool proof security plan has been evolved under which police trenches have been constructed at four key points of district kutchery.

As many as 68 armed policemen have been deployed therein and old pistols, rifles and new LMG have been provided to them.

As many as six walk through gates have been approved and two new walk through gates have been provided. As many as 20 new close-circuit cameras will be installed in kutchery and 16 cameras have been provided. Moreover, eight cameras are being installed in anti terrorism court.
