Islamabad police recover kidnapped person from Peshawar
Islamabad Police and Peshawar police have recovered an abducted person without paying the ransom amount Rs 20 million being demanded by the kidnappers and also arrested four of the kidnappers, a police spokesman said.
According to details, unidentified person stopped the vehicle of Bilal Mehmud near `Bhidana graveyard’ in Tarnol police area and kidnapped him and his servant Mehmud at gunpoint. They freed Mehmud near Swabi interchange and sped.
The kidnappers contacted the family members of Bilal Mehumd through his cell number and demanded ransom amount Rs 20 million.
Tarnol police registered the case following the complaint of Ch. Sultan Mehmud and started the investigation.
Senior police officials constituted special team under supervision of SP Saddar, SDPO Saddar and police officers of Tarnol police stations.
This team raided at the hideout of kidnappers in `Kharka area’ in Daudzia police jurisdiction along with DSP Peshawar Fazal Wahid and recovered the kidnapped person.
Police also arrested three women Bism Jan, Aamia, Salma and a male Ikram who were present in the house at time of raid. KPK police have assisted a lot to Islamabad police in the recovery of kidnapped person.
